DLSU, Claret School take lead SCA posts

Claret School of Quezon City - The Student Catholic Action NCR Cluster conducted their first meeting for the year last January 14, 2018 to update and to share their local activities and primarily decide for the new posts in the cluster level.

The 2017 SCAP National Conference elected the NCR Cluster to sit as the chair for the 2017-2020 National Coordinating Council. The cluster meeting resolved to select De La Salle University SCA to take the college council representative post, while Claret School of Quezon City will serve for the high school council.

Jan Ver Edra, an engineering student from DLSU and DLSU-SCA Vice President will take the chairmanship for the National Coordinating Council together with Mark Villeza, a senior high school student from Claret School and SCA President of the said unit.

Meanwhile, appointed cluster coordinator, Jojie Juanerio, transmitted the coordinatorship to Kim Pablo, SCA animator from Claret School.

Aside from DLSU and Claret School, SCA units from Philippine Normal University Manila and San Jose Academy of Navotas joined the meeting. Other active units include College of the Holy Spirit Manila, University of the East, Far Eastern University, Pasig Catholic College, Veritas School of Paranaque, University of the Philippines and Ateneo de Manila University

Frence Boiser and John Floyd Abrico of the National Secretariat, together with an animator from observer unit, Ms. Miles Bernabe from Technological Institute of the Philippines, Q.C. were also present.

The National Coordinating Council of SCA is composed of lead students and animators from all over the Philippines who will decide for the national movement direction in every three years. Plan of actions are based from the resolutions of the National Leadership Conference held also every three years.
