Aside from the solemnity in the liturgical calendar which falls within the "Year of St. Joseph" (2020 - December 08 - 2021), today marks the beginning of the "Year Amoris Laetitia Family" (2021 March 19 - 2022 June 22) called for by Pope Francis, 5 years after the publication of Amoris Laetitia.

Bishops have written to us about this occasion in Circular No. 21-21 entitled: Pastoral Statement on the Year “Amoris Laetitia Family." The document is shared to all youth ministers, not only as part of their ongoing formation, but also because their message calls for youth ministry participation and contribution.

All diocesan youth councils and national councils of the Federation of National Youth Organizations (FNYO) are encouraged to devote time in reading, studying, and reflecting together on the pastoral statement of Bishops before the Holy Week 2021 comes in.
