The Student Catholic Action of the Philippines National Secretariat reminds all members to heed seriously recommended actions to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus. But, how can we continue supporting each other? Though cell, unit, and diocesan gatherings are temporarily discouraged, an alternative way to do cell, organizational, and prayer meetings is now offered.

SCA members, animators and chaplains are eligible to get a number of helpful software desktop and mobile applications. One of these applications is the Microsoft Teams or Teams. With teams, SCA members can login and do video conferencing to up to 250 participants or webinars (online seminar) accommodating to up to 10,000 audience, recording meetings and synchronizing files real-time.

Microsoft for NGOs granted SCAP in 2015 online services to help the movement sustain a more collaborative way of working especially for its programs and projects. In times of crisis, such as the COVID19 outbreak, it is very important to look out also for the mental and spiritual wellness of each one. We can creatively use our own resources. Constant care through online communication can be an immediate expression of compassion. Any one can be a good companion and listener physically or virtually.
How can you use the Teams App?
You have to be a member of SCA. If you have already an existing SCA account, download the app to your desktop and smartphone (Android/IOs) HERE. Use your SCA email address and password. If you have problems logging in or you lost your password, email frence@scaphilippines.org.
