The Student Catholic Action of the Philippines, in collaboration with the Global Catholic Climate Movement (GCCM) of the Philippines, invites you to join the SOLIDARITY PRAYER MARCH FOR CLIMATE in Rajah Sulayman Park in Malate, Manila (fronting Malate Church) on November 29, 2015 from 6 am to 12 pm.
The Climate Walk aims to mobilize the Catholic faithful of Metro Manila in solidarity with the Global Climate March in Paris and around the world to compel world leaders to sign a strong agreement that will limit the global temperature increase to less than 1.5ºC. The event includes a community prayer for world leaders to urgently stop all polluting and climate change-causing industries and practices.
SCAP will also celebrate this day as the culminating activity of the National Solidarity Month (NSM) in unity with other groups and movements in expressing concerns for the effects of climate change as well as to all people of the world.
