For the first time since the pandemic, Bahay SCAn Formation Center opened its doors for in-person formation and training. Last August 19-21, 2023, the Student Catholic Action of the Philippines National Coordinating Council, SCAP NCC, gathered for formation and planning in preparation for the Academic Year 2023-2024.
SCA NCC is composed of representatives from the 6 clusters of SCAP all over the country - North Luzon, Central Luzon, South Luzon, NCR, Visayas, and Mindanao. This year, 5 out of 6 clusters were represented: North Luzon, Central Luzon, South Luzon, NCR, and Visayas for w total of 13 delegates composed of 2 high school students, 7 college students, and 4 animators.
The training and planning were divided into three parts: Reflection on Spiritual Landmarks, A Deep Dive at SCA's identity, and Discernment and Planning moving forward as a movement. Among the activities and plans discussed are the National Leadership Conference on 2024 and the ongoing year-long journey towards our 88th Anniversary with the theme: Witnessing Faith at 88th.
To follow up this activity, the volunteers and consultants of the National Secretariat will gather at Bahay SCAn Formation Center on August 26-28, 2023 for a planning session.
