Qualified SCA Chaplains and Animators can now apply and register for the 7th Asian Chaplains & Animators Formation Exchange to be held at the Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia, BSD Campus on 30th of June to 6th of July, 2019.
7th Asian CAFÉ is organized in collaboration with the International Young Christian Students (IYCS) Asian Coordination and YCS Indonesia under the theme: “Called to Meet Young People, Rekindling Their Hearts and Walking by Their Side.” This session will, among other objectives, is to create a platform to exchange ideas and experiences by the different Chaplains and Animators in fostering students and youth engagement in the Church and society, as well as to strengthen their capacity in the work of accompaniment.

PARTICIPATION AND RELATED COSTS
YCS Asia and the Local Organizing Committee of YCS Indonesia will bear all cost relating to accommodation, food, and local transportations. A USD150 Registration Fee is asked per participant.
SCA PHILIPPINES GUIDELINES FOR ANIMATORS/CHAPLAINS (based from SCAP Operations Manual):
Active involvement in the movement for at least one year as an animator
Has attended Basic Orientation Workshop/SCAfe
Will attend the preparatory workshop and evaluation schedule arranged by the national secretariat (if necessary)
Willing to serve the movement for at least one year after representation
PROCESS FOR REGISTRATION COMPLETION
Submission of Personal Profile and Letter of Intent on or before April 30, 2019.
FINANCIAL SHARING (from SCAP OM)
Participant's Share - all related to personal legal/formal/official documents like passport processing, birth certificate authentication, etc. including pocket money.
Arch/diocesan and/or Unit Share - help raise funds for local and international travel
*SCAP National Secretariat - Asian CAFE Registration Fees, local airfare (if coming from Visayas and/or Mindanao)

*Due to lack of funds, the national secretariat can only shoulder two scholarships to cover the Asian CAFE Registration Fees as of this time. We will be prioritizing first-timers to represent SCAP for an international program.
